Community Education Resources
Planning ahead community education resources kit

Research has found that planning ahead should be started as soon as possible after the diagnosis of dementia, if not done earlier. Community promotion and education for all adults, especially for people over 50 years of age, was identified as a key strategy to increase awareness and uptake of planning ahead. To aid organisations in conducting community education and awareness sessions, resources were developed and tested.
Resources are suitable to be used within the community, health, aged care and continuing education sectors. Resources include;
- Planning Ahead including advance care planning: A facilitator’s guide
